MEDICATION DISPOSAL

To properly dispose of medication, take medications out of the bottles and place them in a zip lock bag. Liquids, powders and ointments must be in a tightly closed container, with identifying information removed, then placed in the ziplock bag. Never pour medication down the drain, flush down toilets or dispose in trash bins. DO NOT place sharps (needles) or illegal drugs in the kiosks.
