The Veterans Home is a 150 bed community offering 24 -hour care services assisted living, skilled nursing, and Memory Care. A portion of your income is charged depending which service you are receiving. Call or stop by for an application. Go to the website for a list of other VA homes in California.

The VA Outpatient Clinic provides medical care and resources for veterans who qualify. VA also provides transportation, medical equipment, home health
skilled services, caregiving, and many other services.

Home-Base Primary Care

The VA also has a home-base primary care service for those veterans who are homebound or unable to get to the clinic. Must be seen at the clinic first for evaluation. For more information call (530) 247-7910.

The Redding Veterans Resource Center is a non-profit organization assisting veterans with utility bills and rental deposits, finding housing (transitional or permanent) and connects them with supportive resources.

The Shasta County Veterans Service Office assists veterans and their widows apply for benefits. Including disability & aid attendance. They do not make appointments so walk -in anytime Monday thru Friday 8:30-4pm, closed for lunch 11:30-1pm. If you are able, bring your DD-214 document (discharge papers).
